What is FaceBook?
Facebook is a social networking website, that was launched on February 4, 2004. Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg, a member of the Harvard class of 2006 and former Ardsley High School student.
Users can select to join one or more participating networks, such as a high school, place of employment, or geographic region.
As of late November 2007, the website has the largest number of registered users among college-focused sites, with 55 million active members (including non-collegiate members) worldwide.

FlipBook The Photo Flipbook is an application on the Facebook Platform that allows users to interact with online photos in a cool new way.
Engine: FaceBook FlipBook features: Instead of grouping pictures on a single page, the Photo Flipbook takes existing photo albums and displays them as if they are in a book. You can show the photo's caption, change the background and flip through each interactive album by clicking and dragging the corner of each page.The Photo Flipbook leverages the Flash 9 to create a richer multimedia experience. Using the Facebook Platform, Terralever's custom ActionScript API makes applications that integrate with user's lifestyles.
